Praia da Ingrina how to get there?
Praia da Ingrina is a small, calm and less touristy but absolutely stunning, paradise-looking beach in the municipality of Vila do Bispo, Algarve in south-western Portugal. You get there from Raposeira village main road (EN 125) driving by extensive crops fields and meadows for about 5 km. There is an organized parking space for about 30 cars.
Praia da Ingrina is located in a small bay in between of Praia do Zavial on one side and Praia do Barranco on the other. The beach is shaped in the form of a seashell surrounded by rocks and pebbles. Its beautiful white sand and crystal clear water attract entire families with kids, tourists and local population. It is part of protected Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina which leaves it quite unexploited with wild nature around.
On the top of the beach there is a local, family-run restaurant Sebastião where you can have fresh food and drinks. They only close on Tuesday and on the other days they are open until late night.
Praia da Ingrina activities
Praia da Ingrina beach is a true paradise for those looking for active relaxation and holidays. There are some hiking paths which are part of Fishermen’s Trail available on both sides of the beach with amazing views at the ocean and surroundings from the cliffs.
Praia da Ingrina is also a great place for water sport fans. Clear and transparent ocean reveals an amazing underwater paradise with rock formations and sea life. It is a great spot for scuba divers, snorkel fans, surfers or stand up paddling enthusiasts. The beach is safe, supervised by lifeguards in the bathing season starting on June 1 to September 30th.
